What exactly is yoga therapy?


What makes yoga therapy different from yoga class?


What makes yoga therapy different from physical therapy?


Is yoga therapy safe for people with injuries?


All these questions have left me excited to share more with you!! Over the next two years of training, I’ll slowly be refining what yoga therapy means in my practice, but I need your help!

🤫 The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) has a pretty great definition of yoga therapy, and I respect the simplicity of it: “Yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools—postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, and more—to address an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional needs.”
